Artlist
William Bartel
Make up artist
Editorial | Advertising & Films | Bio |

After studying art history, William Bartel fell in love with theater and the performing arts following a meeting with a famous director who pushes him to rapidly develop its artistic projections. It brings together different artists around the project of an engaged theater putting emphasis on authors and the contemporary scene. He will be in charge of programming, will give courses, assist in the staging and development of the site. including the relationship with the press.

Self-taught, he launched himself into stage makeup in parallel and then very quickly into the world of fashion and beauty. His work features an intense woman, singular and passionate. His talent and curiosity also leads him to a collective
artistic direction of a contemporary art magazine. He will guide the choice of editorial subjects, and will quickly become Fashion Director, in charge of the Artistic Direction of the magazine (choice of photographers and teams, production of the series). The subjects will range from contemporary art to fashion, graphics and philosophy.

Passionate about social networks, he is also developing an instagram page based on an assertive aestheticism, from the choice of magazines to the artistic content high in color, humor and kinetic art in an erotic universe.

Today he is based in Paris and represented by Artlist Paris/NY. He works all over the world and continues his ascent by being inspired by the art of design and nature.
