Jürgen Braun started with an apprenticeship as a hairdresser and was trained by Vidal Sassoon, Jean Louis David, and Jacques Dessanges which helped him to capture the whole as beauty. His personal claim of beauty lead him to makeup school in Cologne were he graduated after an education as a Makeup Artist one year later.


Since 1985 Jürgen lives between Paris - New York and was demanded regularly for working on editorial, runway shows, beauty shoots, where he deepened his craft, creativity, the ability to work with a the team, to inspire and be inspired.


Early on and a long time before digital photography appeared, Jürgen was fascinated by the simplicity and transparency of makeup which is very important in our days and always a very important issue to keep the natural glow...playing with textures, colors, and light, also known as macro makeup.
