Photographer Kito Muñoz was born in Cadiz, Spain, in 1997.
Based in Paris, Self-taught and reluctant to limit his creativity within the boundaries of technique, Kito started working from a very simple but effective point of view: imagining, envisioning, creating and crafting the images he dreamed of. His early work started off in a common project with artist Filip Custic, "Filip y Kito". Kito belongs to the Madrid neo-movida that is shaking the country, generating a new visual, artistic and transgressive impact in the last years of ultradigital life.
His visual language is linked to a whole generation of multidisciplinary talents and is built through collaboration and mutual influence. Fashion designers, visual artists, performers, musicians, magazine editors: every collaboration is a way to open new paths. For Kito, community comes in the first place, and political, sexual and social commitment play a relevant role in his practice. Now that Kito has found a way to translate his wildest dreams into high-impact, vivid photographs, his visual work nourishes the fantasies of a global audience.
