Since her childhood, Sandrine Cano Bock has been fascinated by women, the faces and elegance of her mother, whom she spends hours observing. From then on, she quickly developed a passion for drawing and shapes and discovered the profession of Make Up Artist.
She moves to Paris and pushes the doors of a make-up school. Fascinated by opera, theater and circus and captivated by the transformations, the scenography, she began her career as a makeup artist at the Opera Garnier and the Théâtre du Châtelet. She collaborates with several circus companies and also works at the Comédie Française. Sandrine Cano is very interested in the history of art and some artists fascinated her like Séraphine de Senlis, a very instinctive artist who creates her own colors and pigments. Naive Art inspires her a lot, but also Abstract Expressionism like Willem de Kooning whose raw and imperfect beauty she loves.
She started working in the fashion world in 2005 and her work allows her to meet photographers, stylists and actresses who will soon become sources of inspiration for her. Since 2016, Sandrine Cano has been a regular collaborator of Chanel.
